Thanks to the likes of Grand Designs we're all aware of self build homes. The benefits of self build are usually two fold - designing your own living space and saving money. The same is true with self build conservatories. Whether you're a dab hand at DIY or you'll be taking more of a project management role sourcing your own tradesperson, you can still realise the cost savings and flexibility of self building a conservatory.

At the outset you'll have the choice of a wide range of different conservatory designs including the simple lean-to, ever-popular Edwardian and modern gable end to name just three. With a style in mind you can then determine the width and projection i.e. how far it will protrude away from the house. With these details Centurion can then provide you with a free quote and 3D CAD drawing of how your completed conservatory will look. Centurion’s customer service team can also talk you through the options in plain English, from glass types for all-year round use to door options and handle finishes.

Once you're happy with your quote Centurion require a 25% deposit and you will then receive your base plans to begin the digging and the start of your self build project.

Around 80% of our customers self build their own conservatories, with some opting to use a tradesperson for the groundwork and brickwork. Compared with a fully installed conservatory from a high street name you can save literally thousands of pounds when you self build a conservatory bought direct from Centurion's UK factory.
